Manny Pacquiao lost an opportunity to make $50 million when Floyd Mayweather turned down a fight offer and demanded $100 million. Apparently Manny's other earnings weren't enough because he just made a commercial for some random HP cell phone.
"I run 10 miles every morning. Do 2,000 sit-ups a day. Eat 7,000 calories. And train for 8 weeks straight."
Yeah, me too.

Peyton and Eli Manning 'Football Cops' Trailer

We are in day 104 of the NFL lockout and while Ochocinco is riding bulls and playing soccer, Peyton and Eli Manning are making a movie titled 'Football Cops'. Well, a trailer at least. DirecTV released the short video on their website today along with 5 different promo pictures that are equally as awesome as the video.
DirecTV - Peyton and Eli Manning star in this action-packed drama about two former pro football players who bring their unique brand of law enforcement to one of the country's toughest neighborhoods. Mike Tahoe (Peyton Manning) was living the dream as a big league quarterback, until a personal tragedy brought him back to the mean streets of his childhood. Vowing to bring those who wronged him to swift justice, he enlists the help of his best friend, and biggest rival, C.J. Hunter (Eli Manning). Both grew up together as orphans in a home for wayward boys. Both overcame the odds to become huge sports stars. Now both are the only hope for the rugged streets they once again call home.
After watching this I'm sitting down with my hand covering my face just shaking my head. It's not that it was bad, it was just the most "ugh" worthy thing I've seen in the past month. Eli's Fu Manchu is pretty money though. I'm not a Manning fan, in fact I hate them, but if they made this into a real show I'd watch it. That's not saying much but still.

ESPN Dustin Pedroia Sandwich Commercial
ESPN rarely disappoints me with their commercials and this time they delivered a homerun. Well if we are being literal, then a triple. Boston is awesome, we know this, so the fact that ESPN chose a Deli scene debating what kind of sandwich to call "The Pedroia" is perfect. One of the first memories I have of being in Boston is at a deli where the lady asked one of my family members what he wanted on his sub and he said "slide it through the gaaahhden". Then I walked outside and found myself in the middle of an Irish mob and police shoot out with people praying and guys yelling at each other that they were snitches so I ran off and the safest place closest to me was MIT. I decided to stay there until the heat died down. There was nothing to do at an empty school so I just solved all the math problems that I saw on a board instead of sitting there doing nothing. That quickly got boring so then I went to the Red Sox game and met Drew Barrymore.

The Baby Bullet Infomercial
Did I really just see an infomercial for this? I need to start going to sleep earlier.
If you find a girl that will make this shit right after she had your baby then you need to hold on to her and never let her go. But then again, she doesn't deserve much credit because this is so easy. I mean c'mon! "Push and twist for stage 1 early eaters. Push and pulse for stage 2 baby food with a chunkier texture older babies." Wait, this is what "stage 2 babies" look like?

Kim Kardashian Skechers Super Bowl Commercial
I realize this aired during the Super Bowl which was over 2 months ago but yes, please and thank you. Also, the NFL draft is next week so this is relevant. I could post this video everyday and it wouldn't get old. What else do you want from a Super Bowl commercial? This has it all - a famous hot chick wearing half clothes imitating sex with a huge ass/tits who likes to workout with so many sexual innuendos it would make Michael Scott proud.

Catheter Home Kit Commercial
Wait, what?!? Did I seriously just see a commercial for this on TV? But wait, what's that you say? You will work with my doctor, insurance, medicare, handle all paperwork and billing AND there's free shipping? Alright you convinced me. Start sending me those 200 catheters per month. I mean you said they are "much more comfortable" so if I'm going to stick anything in my dick hole I trust some random fat lady at 3am's word that it's so much more comfortable than all those other uncomfortable catheters.

Bud Light Commercial
I just saw a new commercial for Bud Light. Is it possible that this is the best Bud Light commercial yet?
Yes, yes it is. Get rid of the possibility talk, this is the best Bud Light commercial yet. If you think the Clydesdale commercial is better than this, then you are 70 years old and don't know what an iPhone is. Or you might be Amish. Or you are from Philly, in which case we can't trust anything you like. I'm a big nerd, I admit it, but this commercial is awesome. It combines two of my favorite things, beer and beer, how could I not love it.

John Krasinski and Alec Baldwin in Red Sox vs. Yankees New Era Commercial
The Red Sox might be 0-6 but their home opener is today and it's against the Yankees. New Era has a brand new marketing campaign of commercials featuring die-hard fans John Krasinski (Red Sox) and Alec Baldwin (Yankees) talking trash to each other. NBC 12 says:
New Era unveiled its 2011 Major League Baseball (MLB) marketing campaign celebrating epic rivalries and team pride. The campaign features 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin and The Office's John Krasinski in a series of commercials where they demonstrate the true meaning of team rivalry.Well this wouldn't be a successful marketing campaign without Adult Swim participating. The commercial is pretty awesome though and I can't wait for more. "Fire doesn't have a rivalry with kindling." Classic.
In the TV spots, which will begin airing on April 8th, Alec Baldwin, an avid Yankees fan, and John Krasinski, a passionate Red Sox fan, exchange some friendly back and forth trash-talking about each other's teams.
"We've created a campaign that celebrates the most talked about aspect of Major League Baseball – the rivalry," said Christopher H. Koch, CEO. "And we've taken one of baseball's most recognizable rivalries and used it as a catalyst to inspire fans everywhere."
The tagline, "Rivals Are Forever," is part of the TV, social media, in-stadium and retail campaign promoting the brand's Authentic Collection (AC) on-field cap. In-store, ads pay homage to other great baseball rivalries including the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers, and Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals.
The series spots will run during Yankees/Red Sox games throughout the season on ESPN, FOX, YES Network and NESN. Cable channels including Comedy Central, Adult Swim, Spike, FX, SNY and others will also participate.

Isner-Mahut Tennis Match Used For Durex Condom Commercial
Jon Isner and Nicolas Mahut played the longest tennis match ever (11 hours) a month ago at Wimbledon and now the condom company Durex is trying to cash in on it. They turned the match into a commercial about lasting longer and although it seems like it would be a funny concept and make a good commercial I'm not satisfied (pun intended). Overall it feels like something a high school student made during computer class complete with bad techno beats and terrible fading screens.
I wonder if Durex had to pay Isner and Mahut for this or if they just had to pay whoever owned the footage rights. Isner probably just settled for a lifetime supply of Durex condoms because I bet that guy slays slampieces all day. He's friends with Andy Roddick so he probably brings Isner to silly parties with Brooklyn Decker's friends.

Who's a Worse Actor - Ryan Braun or Marisa Miller?

Marisa Miller is a hard 10. Ryan Braun is the man. You'd think combining the two in a commercial would be pure awesome but this commercial crashed harder than Oceanic Flight 815. The commercial is for Remington's ShortCup clippers and I remember watching it back in 2008 when it was released and commenting on how terrible it was. It's not just bad, it's one of the worst extended commercials I have ever seen. My brain had managed to forget about the awfulness until my good friend Grey at Razzball reminded me about it tonight in his daily fantasy write-ups (if you play fantasy baseball I highly recommend you take a look at Razzball - it is the best fantasy baseball site out there). He commented...
"We enjoy funny. We really enjoy unintentionally funny. But Ryan Braun’s extended commercial with SI model Marisa Miller hits a third level of “So bad that it’s funny someone signed off on this idea.” And you’d think if you’re going to hire an athlete to promote Remington razors, you’d find a player whose name isn’t your main competitor. That’s like Perdue hiring Mike Tyson for a chicken ad."Well said Grey. Well said. There were more sexual innuendos than at a Perez Hilton Tupperware party. Enjoy...or try to...
