Matt Garza Adds Another No Hitter to the Tally

That's right, another one got pitched and unfortunately it was the Rays. Last night Matt Garza pitched the first no hitter in the history of the Rays, leaving only the New York Mets and San Diego Padres without a no-no. Did they miss the memo that everybody is pitching them this year? What a bunch of losers. Garza threw 120 pitches, 101 fastballs. At least he's got a lot of variety.


More important Clay Buchholz, Ricky Nolasco and John Danks all got wins last night. What's the importance you ask? All 3 are on my fantasy team bitches!

The Year of the Pitcher

That's right, ANOTHER no-hitter this year. This time it was Edwin Jackson of the Arizona Diamondbacks. It certainly wasn't the prettiest of no-hitters, Jackson walked 8 and threw 149 pitches but it counts all the same. This takes the tally to 2 no-hitters and 2 (3 if we want to go back to Jim Joyce) perfect games. This year is certainly a pitcher dominant season and who knows how many more we'll see.


This was the 3rd time the Rays have been no-hit since last July (Dallas Braden threw a perfect game against them earlier in the season). Which is good because fuck the Rays. Lets go Sox.
